Good question. I would try Kitazawa Seed Company for starters or research the scientific name. I would also hunt for farmers who sell them at farmers markets - most likely along the West Coast - and see if they would be willing to sell you a mother tuber. Good luck and let me know how it goes!

I really enjoyed this post on satoimo. I didn't know the phrase "nabu nabu" for sticky slimy food. I do like kale and potato soup, so maybe I'll try it with taro if I come upon some.
