Shoppers of all ages visit UpMarket in Osaka for Guruli Farm's organic veg. Spring is, I have to say, more than in the air. Flowers are blooming and temperatures rising. Seeds are sprouting, and already some winter vegetables are ceding the stage to spring and summer counterparts. Look for some seasonal vendors to mention that this may be their last weekend at the market or that it is the last weekend for a particular treat. Don't lament, though! That's part of the pleasure of eating what farmers have in their fields. It's seasonal, fresh, and some of the best. See you at the market!
