Butterfly Party in the Lavender
There's a party in my garden, and the hot spot of choice these days is the lavender bush in the west wall bed. In full bloom, the butterflies - the white kind that look like fluttering stars and produce cabbage worms galore - literally flock to the bush. It is nearly as white as it is purple these days.
Don't you think your title for this post would make an excellent title for a book!!! I loved the picture and the whole thought of butterflies having a party in the lavender has put a big smile on my face!!!
I'm so glad you liked it! People stop all the time to take pictures and talk about the butterflies. It's been a wonderful thing. Even now that the blooms are finishing, they still come (the people and the butterflies) and it's so much fun.
